Whati is Assam Orunodoi Scheme
On August 12, 2020, Assam’s Health Minister, Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, formally introduced the Assam Orunodoi Scheme. The implementation of the scheme commenced on August 17, 2020, and the process of selecting eligible participants commenced on October 2, 2020. A budget of 2800 crores has been set aside by the Assamese government for the programme, which is anticipated to help almost 17 lakh families in the region. A monthly financial aid of ₹830 would be provided to qualified families under the initiative, whose annual income is less than two lakhs, to cover their requirements. The goal of the Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme is to raise the living standard of the people and diminish poverty in the state. The woman is eligible to apply for the Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme. - Medical Expenses- Rs 400
- 4 KG Sugar- Rs 200
- Fruits and vegetables- Rs 150
- Essential Needs- Rs 170
- Deen Dayal Divyangjan Achoni and Indira Miri Sarbojanin Biswa Pension Achoni- Rs 250
Eligibility for the Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme?
The applicants who meet the following details can apply for the Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme.
- The person who resides in Assam
- The income of the family should be less than 2 lakh per year
- The name of the woman must match with her name in the bank account
- The benefits are for the only woman
- The woman who are widows, divorced women, and people with disabilities get priority.
- A woman who has a government job or retires from a government job can not apply.
- The family who pay income tax can not apply
- The family who have four-wheelers can not apply
